Therapy can feel scary when first approaching it. You may wonder if therapy can provide any sort of insight into what you are going through, or if you’ll ever feel heard or understood.

Because you are unique, you deserve a unique experience in therapy tailored to what works best for you. I offer an integrative, holistic, and client-centred way of supporting you to feel heard and seen, through using different therapeutic modalities listed below!

I strive to offer an empathetic space that allows you to feel heard, open and supported throughout our journey together. You are the expert in your life, and I hope that by walking with you on your healing journey, it will provide a deep understanding of how I can support you in a unique way that you deserve. Being from Indigenous (Ojibway) and Filipino ethnicity, I have personal and professional experiences around navigating living in two worlds. Some of my specialties revolve around Indigenous culture and spirituality as a foundation, traditional ways of mindfulness techniques and somatic techniques.

I’m currently a student with Yorkville University pursuing my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg. Over the past decade, I have worked with Indigenous/2-spirit, vulnerable, and marginalized populations in various roles and capacities within the social services/mental health sector. I have extensive frontline experience in working with youth and adults with co-occurring disorders, disabilities, addictions, suicide risk, crisis intervention, and traumatic experiences. Over the past six years, I have been working with various First Nations communities to train and support populations in mental health, addictions, and wellness.

I love connecting with nature with my big fur baby, leaning on spirituality, meditating and journalling to connect with my body and inner being, and connecting with my loved ones.I love inline skating and am always looking for freshly paved roads/paths.

I used to travel for dance across Canada, which is a retired passion of mine! I love to dance with my friends when I can; it is still quite enjoyable to me.
