Starting therapy can feel scary. You might be nervous about being vulnerable, questioning what you need to feel supported, or wondering if therapy is even the right choice for you. I'm here to help you discover what works and feels best for you.

I strive to create a space that is nonjudgmental, empathetic, and comfortable. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches while recognizing that no one knows more about you than you. Therapy doesn't need to look the same for everyone, and we'll work together to find an approach that fits your goals, needs, and lived experiences.

One area I'm especially passionate about is working with people living with chronic illness or navigating changes in their health and the medical system. I live with chronic illness myself, and I understand how much it can impact your mental health and everyday life, including the parts other people may not always see or understand. During my undergraduate studies, I also spent time exploring, writing about, and advocating for greater awareness of the impact of chronic illness on mental health.

I'm Métis, and I'm proud to bring this part of my identity with me into the work I do. I value taking the time to understand each person's lived experiences and the different parts of their life and identity that have shaped them.

I work with children, teens, adults, seniors, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, attachment and relationship concerns, stress, suicidal thoughts, chronic illness, medical changes, and caregiver fatigue. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy.

My approach can include CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, attachment theory, feminist therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and play therapy. No matter where you are in your journey, my goal is to meet you there and help you feel supported as we figure out what you need.

Some things that bring me a sense of ease are watching movies, listening to
music, prioritizing self care, and spending time with my loved ones. I really enjoy baking, especially when it’s for the people around me.

“Everything that is meant for you will find you. From people, to moments, to things. If it is for you, it will come. And when it does, be there. Enjoy. Live. And love.” – R.M. Drake
